Whilst we hope that your purchase gives you many years of trouble free service, it is unfortunately inevitable that things sometimes do go wrong. If you are one of the unfortunate ones where something does go wrong, we will endeavor to give you as much advice and support as possible. Whichever product you buy, you will receive the full Manufacturers Warranty which will be outlined in the owners manual you receive with your Scooter/Powerchair/Stairlift.
Warranty Procedure for Scooters and Powerchairs
If you wish to make a warranty claim on a scooter or powerchair purchased from ourselves, firstly, please contact us directly and speak to one of our technicians. Very often, problems can be solved over the phone, therefore eliminating the need for us to repair the problem. Where a problem cannot be solved via a telephone call, it is your responsibility to return the Scooter/Powerchair to us for repair. If you are unable to do this, we can visit you at your home to repair the problem, but a pre-determined call-out charge will be made. We understand that this can be very inconvenient, but this is one of the reasons we are able to offer our products at highly discounted prices. We aim to complete all warranty work within 7 working days of receiving the complaint. This is, however, not always possible so we are therefore unable to guarantee this. There will be no Labour or Parts Charges if the claim is through manufacturers defect. If the claim is found to be caused through user fault, all labour and parts charges will be passed onto the customer.
For piece of mind, we offer a '5 Star Delivery' service which, in the event of a breakdown or problem arising within 12 months from the date of purchase, we will repair your scooter or Powerchair at your home address completely free of charge*. If we are unable to rectify the problem on site, we will, where possible, leave you with a courtesy scooter or Powerchair whilst yours is away being repaired. You will also be made a priority over customers that have not purchased this service. The '5 Star Delivery' service must be purchased at the same time as your scooter or powerchair. Warranty Procedure for Stairlifts
Stairlift warranties differ to those of scooters or Powerchairs in that the Manufacturer themselves are directly responsible for them. You will receive a full 12 month warranty (including 24 hour call-out service) with any of the Stairlifts purchased from us. You will also receive the opportunity to purchase an extended warranty of up to 5 years. If a Stairlift needs repair or replacement, please contact the manufacturer directly, or the authorised repair agent whose number you will be left with upon installation of the Stairlift.
